Appearance[edit | edit source]
Ayura is a tall woman with dark-colored eyes and expressionless face most of the time. She has black hair with fringes parted in half. At first sight, she appears to have cheek-length short hair; however, it is her sidelocks and she actually has long hair that she ties in a ponytail while being held by a ribbon.
She dons a short-sleeved light-colored robe that is held by a sash where her two blades are hanging. The collar of the robe has a long black ribbon flowing past the end of the hemline and is tucked inside the sash until it finally hangs freely on her right side. This ribbon has a stitched white string in the middle that is designed in a dashed-patterned. Underneath her robe is a black inner robe with long sleeves. On her feet, she wears a pair of flats.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Ayura has a reserved and quiet personality. She doesn't really express herself very well unless something is bothering her or when she needs to speak or act necessarily. She is also more of an observer as she notices the subtle things people themselves can’t see immediately. Even though she is meek, she will step up her game once she sees her master being hurt and defend her to the best she can. Despite this, she still has a fun side as she likes to modifying things in Lili’s room.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
She and Tetora are summoned by Lili and they go to Shisen to investigate the suspicious group their master thinks as smugglers from Kai. On their arrival, they quickly see the people Lili was telling them and they focus on the sole girl among the crowd of men. However, they soon leave as one man spots them. They decide to stay at an inn for the moment and leaves Lili in a room for a while to make reservations on the hot springs. But when they come back, their master is nowhere to be found.
The two of them search for her, and eventually, they find her with the people they were following earlier. She sees a bruise on Lili’s cheek and points it out to Tetora, on which they quickly ask who hurt her while preparing to fight. Lili clears up their misunderstanding and tells them that they saved her, making them apologize quickly. Soon after, the three of them leaves and heads back to the inn so that they can go back to Suiko tomorrow. However, Lili tells them that she is not yet planning to go home. The following day, they meet the group again. Lili learns the situation of the drug users and she is ordered to set up clinics for them. After that, they take Yona –the name of the lone girl– and her company to the inn they’re staying at. They take a bath at the hot springs while discussing Yona’s friends. In the middle of a conversation, Ayura suddenly becomes bothered by the black-haired man that is together with Yona. Tetora notices her and tells that she also feels bothered by the identity of that man. When they finished bathing, she watches Yona practice her swordsmanship with Lili and she compliments the redhead’s movements and her teacher. Yona and Lili then decide to follow Tetora who is currently getting food and she is ordered to stay behind.
